Over 100 people took part in the Abbfest Giant Quiz on Sunday 25th, with the winners receiving not only an all expenses paid day out at Newton Abbot Races but also £300 for their nominated charity.
The winning team - 'Bishops Crooks' hailed from Bishopsteignton (as the name suggests!) and were delighted with their well deserved win and receiving a cheque for their nominated charity - The Brittle Bone Society.
The fact that the birthday of one of their team falls on the day they will be going to the races capped a most enjoyable event for all concerned.
Judged on the enthusiastic response from those taking part this year one suspects that the Abbfest Quiz will become a regular feature of Abbfest in the future.
